LOCATION
McCabe's Guitar Shop

Santa Monica, CA 90405

The Power Lyric Workshop
Sunday, October 21
1-2:30pm
$40

Molly will include insider secrets for pop, new country, rock, and alternative songs on:
  • Finding your goose-bump titles.
  • Using images to express your feelings.
  • Targeting your artist. Who's going to sing this? And if it's you, developing your fingerprint as that artist.
  • Rhythm, rhythm, rhythm! Creating verse/chorus/bridge rhythms that are completely different from each other.
  • Telling your audiences something new, something nobody else but you can tell them because nobody but you is you.
  • Telling the story of your lyric--beginning, middle and end--before you write the actual lyric.
  • Promoting yourself like a pro.

The Power Melody Workshop
Sunday, Oct. 28
1-2:30pm
$40

Molly will include insider secrets for pop, new country, rock, and alternative songs on:
  • Nailing your bridges. We all wish we didn't have to write them, but we do. Period. Don't blow a great tune with a bad bridge. No, an instrumental does not replace this section.
  • Writing that killer chorus, one note at a time. No chords. No kidding. Same for the verse and bridge.
  • Rhythm, rhythm, rhythm! Creating verse/chorus/bridge rhythms that are completely different from each other.
  • Writing your fingerprint, not duplicating somebody else's.
  • Promoting yourself like a pro.
