About THE FAMILY VALUES TOUR:
The first trek launched September 22, 1998 with a bill headlined by KORN and with performances from Rammstein, Ice Cube, Limp Bizkit and Orgy. 1999's line-up featured headliners Limp Bizkit, along with Filter, The Crystal Method, Primus, Staind, Mobb Deep, Ja Rule, and Method Man & Redman. KORN also made surprise appearances at a few dates. Beyond the live touring aspect, the debut outing of The Family Values Tour spawned a gold-certified live album and platinum-certified companion home video. This was followed in spring 2000 with the second live disc and long-form home video. The 2001 trek featured Stone Temple Pilots, Linkin Park, Staind, Static-X and Deadsy. In 1998, the Los Angeles Times noted that the tour "certainly proved to be one of the rock spectacles of the year," while the New York Daily News said it "created a bold new profile for hard guitar bands."

The Killers' single to benefit the Global Fund
THE KILLERS’ FIRST CHRISTMAS SINGLE, “A GREAT BIG SLED,” TO TURN (RED) WITH 100% OF PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE GLOBAL FUND TO FIGHT AIDS, TUBERCULOSIS, AND MALARIA
The Killers set December tv dates in support of RIAA platinum SAM’S TOWN album:
• “VH1 Big in ’06 Awards” (Saturday, December 2nd)
• Billboard Music Awards (Monday, December 4th)
• The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Monday, December 18th)
(Nov. 29, 2006 – New York, NY) Looking ahead to the yuletide season, Island Records group The Killers have recorded “A Great Big Sled,” their first Christmas single – and along with Apple iTunes Music Store are donating 100% of the proceeds from sales of the song to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. On December 1st, AOL will premier the song exclusively on aolmusic.com, while the video for “A Great Big Sled” will premier on Yahoo Music on 12/7.
“I want to roll around like a kid in the snow.
I want to re-learn what I already know.
And I want to take flight, dress in red, through the night on a great big sled.
I want to wish you merry Christmas…”
“A Great Big Sled,” a collaboration with veteran UK popster Toni Halliday (of goth/dance duo Curve), was recorded by the Killers in London with their venerable British producer Alan Moulder. The new album Sam’s Town, was released October 3rd and certified RIAA platinum earlier this month, features the #1 Alternative/Modern Rock radio hit single and video, “When You Were Young” and “Bones” (first video directed by Tim Burton).
(RED), founded by U2’s Bono and Bobby Shriver (CEO of RED), is an economic initiative designed to deliver a sustainable flow of private sector money to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. It is the first time that the world’s leading companies (Gap, Apple, Motorola, Converse, Armani and American Express) have made a commitment to channel a portion of profits from sales of specially-designed products to the Global Fund to support AIDS programs in Africa with a focus on women and children.
On December 1st, The Killers will join other high-profile guests and celebrities at Emporio Armani stores to encourage consumers to buy Product RED (including “A Great Big Sled”), and save lives.” Giorgio Armani has collaborated with Ghanaian contemporary artist Owusu-Ankomah to create a capsule collection of products that range from a jacket, sweatshirt and jeans to several accessories that will be available in all 124 Emporio Armani stores throughout the world.
Upcoming in December is a busy schedule of tv appearances – starting with the first annual “VH1 Big in ’06 Awards” December 2nd and “The Billboard Music Awards” in their hometown of Las Vegas on the 4th ; and finally two weeks later (December 18th), their return to NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The dates come on the heels of their victory this month at the annual MTV European Music Awards in Copenhagen, where The Killers were voted Best Rock Band of the year, beating out Evanescence, Keane, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Strokes.

2007 Epitaph tour
2007 Epitaph Tour Plans Cemented
The Matches, Escape The Fate, I Am Ghost and The Higher Road-Ready
Tickets for the 2007 Epitaph Tour – featuring The Matches, Escape The Fate, I Am Ghost and The Higher – will go on sale December 2nd. Featuring rising stars of the world famous record label’s roster, the extensive seven week North American trek will get underway in San Diego on February 1 and wrap in Las Vegas on March 18.
The Matches have been touted as “some of the most creative and boundary-pushing musicians I have ever worked with,” by +44’s Mark Hoppus, who shared production duties with the likes of Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, Goldfinger’s John Feldman, 311’s Nick Hexum and Epitaph founder Brett Gurewitz on the group’s acclaimed new disc Decomposer. Named “an album capable of sneaking under the skin of enough skeptics to make the band rock stars” by Alternative Press, while All Music Guide called the Oakland foursome’s multiple-producer philosophy “a particularly distinctive and creative album to be proud of.”
As for Escape The Fate, the Las Vegas-based hard rock/screamo outfit, the group’s strongly received Epitaph debut has been praised by critics on both sides of the globe. Of Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, Australia’s The Globe wrote, “It’s schizophrenic, sinister and unsettling – and totally thrilling.” At home, Punknews.org announced “[it] has success written all over it.” Speaking of the group’s ambitions live, singer Ronnie insisted, “I have a vision – I want people to have fun and put their fists in the air.”
Also in tow, revered Long Beach, California-based dark rock sextet I Am Ghost – who were named among Alternative Press’ “100 bands you need to know” – support their debut full length Lovers’ Requiem. Bringing forth a breathtaking amalgam of vibrant strings, demonic guitar lines, choral flourishes and grinding punk rock, IAG are a breed apart. Described as “AFI singking their fangs into Straylight Run and letting the new goth-screamo blood run free,” by Revolver, the band was also praised by Outburn for its “dynamic montage of all the modern heavy and agro styles, touching on punk, hardcore, emo, thrash and goth – all with a pop sensibility that won’t quit.”
Also from Las Vegas, quintet The Higher fuses elements of pop, emo and R&B, and have been described as Saves The Day meets Justin Timberlake. Signed on the strength of 2005’s indie release Histrionics after a performance at the Roxy in L.A. earlier this year, Gurewitz personally presented the group an offer. Citing “Seth [Trotter’s] exceptional voice” and their “R&B pop influence” as two key components, Gurewitz says, “I believe the sky’s the limit for The Higher.”

FREE DOWNLOAD OF LONG AWAITED “MIXTAPE MESSIAH 2” TO CELEBRATE WEBSITE RELAUNCH ON CHRISTMAS EVE
(New York, NY – November 28, 2006) – Platinum superstar and award winning rapper Chamillionaire readies for his highly anticipated sophomore album “Ultimate Victory” releasing on March 27th. Spending all of last year pushing himself to the limit to get revenge at a world that seemed to doubt the once underground lyricist, everyone watched as he crawled from the bottom to the top, taking home trophies and breaking ground with his major label platinum-plus debut smash album, “The Sound Of Revenge,” which became one of the most seminal hip-hop records of the year.
“If success is the best revenge then I accomplished my goal, but in the process I realized that I already won the battle before it even started,” says Chamillionaire. “Winners are not scared to take a different road or move at a different pace and they don’t have to burn themselves out in the beginning to be victorious in the end. A winner is the leader that everyone else seems to follow. A true winner is humble in the time of victory and still humble at the time of defeat. A winner gives his/her best effort and competes to the best of their ability, but still understands that you can’t win them all. The new album will focus on the important aspects of hip hop – lyrics and creativity. No beef, instigating or diss records. This album will focus on living and enjoying life, because life is good, and once you realize that…Ultimate Victory!”
As a thank you to his fans for their overwhelming support and contribution to his breakthrough year as music’s most celebrated debut artist in 2006, Chamillionaire will release the long awaited “Mixtape Messiah 2,” which will be free to download in its entirety off his official website, www.chamillionaire.com on Christmas Eve, the day it re-launches. A month later, the DVD portion of the mixtape, which contains exclusive video footage of the entertainer, will be released. Fans will be able to get a glimpse of Chamillionaire’s journey this past year which has been thoroughly documented, from performances center stage, to attendance at award shows and celebrity red carpet events, unwinding at home in Houston, to traveling oversees and interacting with fans, as well as preparations in the studio for the new album.
“I have been so busy this past year with promoting my major debut that I haven’t had the time to feed my underground fans as much as I would have wanted to. I feel like the best way I could say thank you to everyone that has supported my music is to give them Mixtape Messiah part 2 for free. Every artist hates illegal downloading and I know it may seem like I’m supporting it, but I think people are just hungry for some good material. Hopefully they will appreciate my consistency enough to go and purchase “Ultimate Victory” when it releases on March 27th.”
Chamillionaire’s revamped website will be completely renovated on the day of mixtape release. The new and improved site will have 3-D animation graphics, updated photos, downloads, a Chamillitary radio station with exclusive music, new and up to date news and information, which will include updated bio, photos and music from his newly signed artist, Famous to his Chamillitary imprint; as well as autographed giveaways, video footage and updated blogs from the superstar rapper himself.
Chamillionaire is currently oversees, appearing in concerts across Scotland, England and Ireland to promote his debut album, which was recently certified Gold internationally. He will also make an appearance at the upcoming 33rd Annual People’s Choice Awards, airing on January 9th on CBS to celebrate his nomination for the Best Hip-Hop Song for his smash rap anthem “Ridin’.”
