LUCK Media & Marketing, Inc., a highly recognized Public Relations firm founded by music industry veteran Steve Levesque in 1999, is announcing an expansion of the company’s services in keeping with the modern and ever-changing state of the entertainment business. Services added include Artist Development, Management and Marketing Consultation. One of the highlights of the new services is what Levesque calls the “Virtual Major Label,” where teams of respected industry executives will be assembled on behalf of a particular artist or project. The new LUCK Media & Marketing website, www.luckmedia.com, will be launched this week to reflect the changes, along with www.virtualmajorlabel.com.
Explains Levesque, “We have noticed that many of the artists that are coming to us for media and industry exposure do not have back-office teams in place to assist them with crucial services such as Artist Development, Career Management and other aspects of Entertainment Business Marketing. Due to my extensive background and a strong bench at LUCK Media & Marketing, we can also provide valuable assistance to deserving artists in those areas to complete the package. We have developed the “Virtual Major Label” concept to a fine art and it’s time to implement those activities officially into LUCK Media’s arsenal.”
Levesque commenced his career in the music business straight out of college in a blur of activity that has spanned more than 30 years. He has never held what he refers to a “straight job.” From working in record retail at Wherehouse Records, to managing the Surf Punk band Agent Orange – securing them record deals, radio airplay, tours, and the very first Skateboard endorsement deal- he went on to being the head of Media Relations at Enigma/Capitol Records and then worked his way up to Vice President of Music Department for the legendary PR pro, Lee Solters.
Levesque has worked with an eclectic assortment of artists and projects including: Michael Jackson, James Brown, Lollapalooza, Bush, Lit, Moody Blues, Chaka Khan, New York Dolls, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sara Evans, Kenny Chesney, Rick James, Air Supply, Heart, Rick Springfield, David Cassidy, Sandra Bernhard, Penthouse Magazine, The Cramps, Dick Dale, Residents, Musicians Institute, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack and many more.
The experienced and motivated staff of LUCK Media & Marketing also includes Jen Onsum, Director of Online PR & Marketing; Account Executives Tasya Swisko and Chrissy Sutphin and Publicist Krysten Kabzenell.
