Ohio's Buffalo Killers to tour

Cincinnati, Ohio’s Buffalo Killers are back on the road in the U.S. this fall opening for the Black Crowes. The band will begin September 28 in Bend, OR performing through October 27. Following, The Buffalo Killers will continue touring on their own throughout the southern U.S. and Canada. The Buffalo Killers are currently supporting their self-titled Alive Records debut and working with Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) at his Pie Co. studios in Akron, Ohio on their sophomore release.

Now a psychedelic blues power-trio following the dissolve of critic’s favorite, Thee Shams (Fat Possum), Cincinnati’s Buffalo Killers reconfigured their line-up and refined their sound, recording their recently released Alive Records debut at hometown Ultra Suede Studios with producer John Curley (Afghan Whigs, Staggering Statistics). The band features brothers Zachary (vox/bass) and Andrew Gabbard (vox/guitar) with Joseph Sebaali (drums). Drawing comparisons in sound to Cream, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and the Allman Brothers, the bands’ music is deeply rooted in 60s psychedelic and 70s blues rock.
