Rapper 50 Cent on Starz

Rapper 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) will see Starz this September with “50’s Picks” on Starz Edge and the premiere of “50 on 50” on Starz InBlack. “50’s Picks,” a four night programming event featuring films selected and hosted by 50 Cent, begins on Starz Edge Friday, Sept. 7 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). “50 on 50,” an original 30-minute video show hosted by 50 Cent, premieres on Starz InBlack Friday, Sept. 7 at 11 p.m. (ET/PT). These programming events coincide with the release of 50 Cent’s third major album, “Curtis,” on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Movies featured in “50’s Picks” include The Professional, Rush Hour, Carlito’s Way and He Got Game. An encore of “50’s Picks” will air on Starz Edge as a marathon the evening of Saturday, Sept. 15. Tony Yayo, a founding member of G-Unit, joins 50 Cent in “50 on 50” to discuss music and introduce a variety of music videos including three from “Curtis” – “Straight to the Bank,” “I Get Money,” and “Ayo Technology” featuring Justin Timberlake.
