Rascal Flats visits children's hospital

RASCAL FLATTS visited the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt today and performed a short acoustic set for children and their families in the Children’s Theater. The kids were also treated to visits by several Disney characters- Cinderella, Mickey & Minnie and Snow White- thanks to Rascal Flatts record label Lyric Street Records, whose parent company is Disney.

“It puts a smile on our face to be here today,” said Gary LeVox to press following the party appearance. “Maybe it took their minds off of things for just a little while today.” “The benefit concert in September is the entire community’s show,” shared Jay DeMarcus. “Everyone who buys a ticket is affecting the lives of those kids.”

After singing to the kids, Gary, Jay & Joe Don visited and took pictures with each of the children in the party and then spent time visiting patients who could not attend in their hospital rooms.

Rascal Flatts upcoming concert on September 21 at the Sommet Center will benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Some tickets for this show are still available through www.ticketmaster.com. Rascal Flatts have donated 1.4 million to the hospital through their Nashville concerts the past two years.
