The annual International Laureates Festival - in Southern California each Summer since 1998 - takes place at various venues throughout the City, including UCLA, Beverly Hills' Greystone Mansion, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Rolling Hills United Methodist Church, and culminates in an evening concert by the full orchestra in the Walt Disney Concert Hall, this summer on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.

Twenty-eight selected artists will arrive in Los Angeles from 21 countries. Rolling Hills United Methodist Church hosts an all-day rehearsal, open to the public from 2:30-4:30 p.m., and in the evening iPalpiti orchestra & soloists perform a Festival "Preview" -chamber-music and solo recital selections by the soloists, and selections from its Walt Disney Concert Hall concert by the full iPalpiti orchestra.
