Era continues at the Oviatt Penthouse July 25

Jenn Laskey of RedLight Special Events & Kim Koury of SPIN PR proudly present the second installment of “ERA”, a monthly, upscale, era-inspired event series under the stars featuring the most talented musicians and DJs in the industry. This month’s event will feature a performance by R&B/Soul artist Jd Webb and a special guest set by celebrity DJ Casey Connor. Must RSVP to www.redlightpromotions.com/era to request an invitation. Doors open at 9pm. Tickets are $20 at the door and include a $5 Marani Vodka bar from 9-10pm.

Surrounded by 360 degree views of downtown Los Angeles, ERA aims to transport guests back in time, creating a party unlike anything else in LA. The private location is on the 13th floor of an 1928 art deco gem called THE OVIATT PENTHOUSE, also known as 'The Art Deco Castle in the Air', which is adjacent to the famed “Cicada” restaurant.

RedLight & SPIN’s vision for “Era” was to create a summer special event series/ club alternative in the vibe of an authentic 1920’s event; fully embracing the glamour and splendor of the vintage era when the building was erected, with mesmerizing 1920’s art deco architecture, original penthouse furnishings, DJ & amazing live music blending the past with the present, and an artistic and gorgeous crowd urged to dress in cocktail and/or 1920’s theme attire.

WHAT: “ERA”- An exclusive, invite-only nightclub at an art deco castle in the sky. July’s “ERA” features a live performance by Jd Webb, and special guest celebrity DJ Casey Connor. Additional music will be provided by resident DJs, Beat Ventriloquists.

WHEN: Saturday, July 25th, 2009 9pm to 2am with live performance beginning at 11pm. ERA event series will continue on August 15th and Sept 19th,.

To reserve a table, call 213.321.5886. Capacity is limited to 150 guests at a time but the downstairs bar is open to guests anxiously waiting their chance to get to the top.
