Flappers Burbank offers comedy Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 24

Has the economy got you down? Need a good meal, laugh and a stiff drink? Well come on down on Wednesday Nov 24th at 8pm to Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank for a Great Comedy Show and Thanksgiving Dinner for a suggested donation of $25.00 or pay what you can.

We will be donating the proceeds from the event to the Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC). Bringing canned food items for donation is also encouraged and will be directly given to BTAC.

This show will be hosted by local weatherman and comedian Fritz Coleman, and stars NBC Diversity Finalist Samuel J Comroe, Deven and Joel (an Improv Comedy Duo) with a huge internet following plus other comedians performing are Charles Jaffee, Dave Reinitz, Fritz Coleman, Dustin Roads, Ralph Guerra, and Samuel J. Comroe and Dean Delray.

The Burbank Temporary Aid Center was created in 1974, to address the need for a centralized source of services for the less fortunate in our community. The Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC) was founded to address these needs. BTAC’s founders knew Burbank’s then somewhat rural veneer could obscure the reality experienced by some of our neighbors, just as a more cosmopolitan and affluent appearance can do the same today. From the beginning, BTAC’s clients have included individuals and families, the working poor, the homeless, crime victims and senior citizens.

BTAC is located at 1304 West Burbank Boulevard Burbank, CA 91506 Phone: (818) 848-2822 -www.theBTAC.org. They have an especially urgent need for donations to support our food pantry! At this time, BTAC is only permitted to accept monetary donations, or contributions of commercially prepared, unopened food. BTAC can use the following supplies year-round: Macaroni & cheese, peanut butter cereals, canned fruits and vegetables, canned soups, canned meats (chicken, tuna, etc.), rice, pasta, instant potatoes, pancake mixes, syrup, personal hygiene supplies such as toothpaste, tooth brushes and deodorant. Canned goods with easy-open pull-tabs are especially appreciated. Please, no ramen noodles, or exotic, specialty-food items!
