Knott’s Berry Farm will have something for the entire family this New Year’s Eve with a variety of dance music, a hypnotist, a Beatles tribute band and a special performance by Terri Nunn and Berlin. All this plus Knott’s rides, attractions and a Midnight Mayhem Pyrotechnic Show in Calico Square will make Knott’s Rock On! Ride On! New Year’s Eve the place to ring in 2011.
Headlining the evening will be Terri Nunn and Berlin. 80’s superstars Terri Nunn and Berlin reached international fame with hits “No More Words,” “The Metro” and “Take My Breath Away.” The group will be performing at Knott’s Calico Square for two performances during the event. For those who love the music of the 60’s, Beatles tribute band Abbey Road will be performing in Knott’s Wagon Camp.
But that is not all that is going on this New Year’s Eve at Knott’s. Guests can put on their dancing shoes and get on the dance floor as Knott’s rolls out not one, but two dance parties in the park. The evening will include salsa instruction in Knott’s Fiesta Plaza and line dancing in Knott’s Wilderness Dance Hall.
The whole family will enjoy a special performance of Snoopy on Ice and Hypnotist Dominick DeCarlo. In addition, Camp Snoopy will be open with rides and shows for the young and the young at heart.
When the clock strikes twelve, the skies above Calico Square will be ablaze with color as Knott’s rings in the New Year with a Midnight Mayhem Pyrotechnic Show. Rock On! Ride On! is a special ticket event beginning at 7 pm. This event is not included with regular daytime admission. Tickets for Rock On! Ride On! are $37.99 (Regular) and $19.99 (Jrs ages 3-11/Srs ages 62+). Daytime guests can stay for the event for just a $20 upgrade ticket. Admission to the event is also included with any 2010 or 2011 Knott’s Season Pass.
