Toni Rose releases EP

On November 16, singer- songwriter Toni Rose will release her five-song EP, Smells Like Rain, on digital outlets. Smells Like Rain will introduce fans to her solo talent – a style that mixes country and pop with a touch of rock and a heavy dose of emotionally raw lyrics.

The EP opens with the no-nonsense fired-up single, “Get Out,” on which Toni’s powerful vocals slice through a catchy, radio-ready melody. The listener quickly breaks through her tough exterior on the raucous and fun “Break Some Rules.” Toni continues to reveal her softer side while showcasing her skill as a classically trained pianist on “Run” and “Take a Chance,” before switching it up with the sexy soul of “Nobody Knows.” Smells Like Rain captures the multi- faceted personality of an artist, as each track crosses genres to create a tight reflection of what it means to be a modern woman.

Toni previously appeared on the Grammy Award-winning album, Songs from the Neighborhood: The Music of Mr. Rogers. Toni’s aspirations for her EP are no less than the accolades she received for her collaborative work.

In addition to production and instrumentation, Toni’s EP was co-written by well-known producer and owner of 825 Records, Matty Amendola at the 825 Records studio in Brooklyn, NY.
