Supernatural thriller film announces open casting call

The supernatural thriller Walk-In, based on the #1 bestselling novel Summer’s Path by Scott Blum, is being produced by IMadeAMovie.com, a web based studio that offers movie enthusiasts around the world the opportunity to experience the act of filmmaking first hand. Blum, who also wrote the script, is slated to direct. This is the second feature to be produced by the studio, which finances feature films via online group purchasing power. Walk-In tells the remarkable story of Don Newport, an engineer who comes face-to-face with his personal destiny under extraordinary circumstances. The plot delivers an astounding meditation of life and death and reveals various healing and spiritual concepts, including walk-ins, embodiment, and soul destiny.

Scott Blum of Ashland, Oregon is a bestselling author and the co-founder of the popular inspirational website DailyOM. He is also a successful multimedia artist who has collaborated with several popular authors, musicians, and visual artists and has produced many critically acclaimed works.

The film’s budget is estimated at $100,000. Principle photography is scheduled to commence in January 2011 for a release of Summer 2011.
