Dengue Fever in Pioneertown Feb. 18

DENGUE FEVERÂ has added an all-ages show at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown to their Western U.S. tour on Saturday, February 18 at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 and more information is available at http://www.pappyandharriets.com/.

DENGUE FEVER recently returned from a tour of South East Asia that was made possible via an Arts Grant by the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassies in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. It was the band’s third tour of the region that included club dates, massive outdoor festival shows, charity performances and workshops.

In April of 2011, DENGUE FEVER released its fourth full-length album, Cannibal Courtship for Concord Music Group/Fantasy Records. The band has toured the United States, France, Asia and England in support of the record. In fact, the band was invited by The Kinks’ Ray Davies to perform at his 2011 Meltdown Festival, which he curated, as well as making their sold-out Paris debut and second Glastonbury performance. The band is in the process of confirming additional tour dates in the U.S. and Europe for 2012.

Later this year, DENGUE FEVER will launch their own record label for the purpose of releasing their long out-of-print back catalog with additional bonus tracks and new merchandise for fans. Currently, the band is sifting through outtakes, live tracks, radio shows, alternative tracks and more to expand their back catalog for digital and physical release.
