Dream Theater launches translated news pages

DREAM THEATER has always had strong fan support outside of the United States, and in order to bring their international fans closer to the band, they have reached out to fan sites all over the world to create translated versions of the DREAM THEATERnews page. Argentina, Israel, Italy and Venezuela are the first to join the band in creating and making available these localized news pages.

While on tour recently in South America, John Petrucci heard from a number of fans about the need for an official DREAM THEATER connection. John states, "Our efforts to further unite our online international community have only just begun. We are very fortunate to have so much incredible support and devotion from fans in many different countries around the world, and we hope that more and more fan communities will participate in this ongoing endeavor. We look forward to hearing from fans interested in having the news page translated for their countries." Jordan Rudess adds, "We are excited to be working with these first four fan sites, and can't wait for others from around the world to reach out to us on Facebook."

To whet the appetite of their fans, DREAM THEATER have released this trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NndiL9seZSI.
Live At Luna Park was filmed over two nights in South America, home to one ofDREAM THEATER’s most ardent fanbases. The DVD was filmed after a 15-month world tour, hitting 35 countries. “This is without a doubt the closest a viewer at home will come to experiencing a live Dream Theater concert,” states guitarist and founding member John Petrucci. “Between the hi-def and 3D video, the huge audio mix and the documentary style behind the scenes footage, you are truly transported to the arena and completely immersed in the entire live experience.”
About DREAM THEATER:
Progressive metal band Dream Theater formed in 1985 under the name Majesty byJohn Petrucci, John Myung, and Mike Portnoy. Though a number of lineup changes followed, the three original members remained together, along with James LaBrie and Jordan Rudess, until September 2010, when Mike Portnoy exited the band. In October 2010, Dream Theater held auditions for a new drummer, and added drummer extraordinaire Mike Mangini to its roster.
In 2012 the band received its first-ever Grammy nomination for “On The Backs Of Angels” in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category.  The song was the first single from their eleventh studio album A Dramatic Turn Of Events (released September 13, 2011 on Roadrunner Records), which had fourteen top 10 debuts around the world (including the U.S., where it entered at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart).
In 2012, DREAM THEATER wrapped up a massive worldwide, headline tour in support of A Dramatic Turn of Events and is currently at work recording their next album. To date, the legendary progressive metal masters have sold in excess of ten million records and DVDs worldwide.
