PRINCE TO LAUNCH WEST COAST TOUR ON
APRIL 15 IN VANCOUVER

INTRODUCES NEW ALL-FEMALE BAND - 3RDEYEGIRL

Minneapolis, MN--PRINCE, seven-time Grammy Award winner and Multi-Platinum artist announced today that he will be embarking on a West Coast U.S. tour this Spring.  The tour will introduce his brand new, all-female backing band, 3RDEYEGIRL, and begins on April 15 from Vancouver, British Columbia, concluding on May 13 in Denver, Colorado.

The nine-city tour will be showcased in intimate venues and mid-sized theatres for fans to encounter up-close-and-personal experiences of PRINCE and 3RDEYEGIRL, featuring acclaimed Canadian guitarist Donna Grantis, Danish bass guitarist Ida Nielsen and Kentucky-native drummer Hannah Ford.  PRINCE will perform two shows per night (8:00 and 11:30 p.m.). The dates are as follows:  April 15 and 16 at Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, BC;  April 18 and 19 at Showbox at The Market in Seattle, Washington;  April 21 at Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon;  April 23 and 24 at DNA Lounge in San Francisco, California; April 26 and 27 at The Joint in Las Vegas, Nevada;  April 30 and May 1 at Marquee Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona;  May 3 and 4 at Hard Rock Hotel Ballroom in San Diego, California;  May 7 and 8 at City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California;  and May 12 and 13 at The Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado.

3RDEYEGIRL recently made their national television debut on NBC's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," in which PRINCE and the band performed his newly released song "Screwdriver" and classic tune "Bambi." View here:  http://www.nbc.com/search?q=prince+jimmy+fallon.

Rolling Stone has named Prince “one of the world's greatest guitarists,” and 3RDEYEGIRL is already turning critics’ heads.   Says Sticky Magazine of guitarist Donna Grantis: “the full impact of Grantis is her live performance:  the interaction with other musicians onstage, the improvisational wizardry and the sheer passion that can be felt.”  TheCurrent.Org raves about Ida Nielsen and drummer Hannah Ford:  “Nielsen and Ford prove to be a powerhouse rhythm section.”  GuitarCenter.com echoes of Ford:  “From the moment the show opens until it closes, you will feel the excitement and power of Hannah’s assault on her drum kit.”

New music from PRINCE is available exclusively at 3RDEYEGIRL.COM<http://3rdeyegirl.com/>, including "Screwdriver," "Breakfast Can Wait," "RNR Remix 7," and more.
