NOEL PAUL STOOKEY TO PERFORM AT THE GRAMMY MUSEUM AND WILSHIRE BOULEVARD TEMPLE’S IRMAS CAMPUS
WHO: Singer-songwriter Noel Paul Stookey, an iconic figure in contemporary music - “Paul” of the legendary Peter, Paul, and Mary.
WHAT: Stookey will be making two key appearances in Southern California, at the GRAMMY Museum and Wilshire Boulevard Temple’s Irmas Campus. At the GRAMMY Museum Stookey will perform classic Peter, Paul, and Mary material as well as songs off of his solo album, One And Many. The performance will be followed by a Q&A conducted by GRAMMY Museum Director Bob Santelli. The Wilshire Boulevard Temple appearance will be a part of their Yom Hashoah, the solemn Day of Remembrance, services. It will showcase Stookey’s song “Jean Claude,” which tells the story of two French boys who met during the Holocaust. He will also perform the legendary Bob Dylan song “Blowin’ In the Wind.”
