Low in Hollywood April 2

Low is playing the Troubadour on April 2. The tour is in support of their 10th record, The Invisible Way, out March 19 on Sub Pop Records.

The record was produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, engineered by Tom Schick and recorded in Wilco’s studio in Chicago, IL. This album marks Low’s 20th anniversary as a band. Watch the trailer for The Invisible Way on YouTube.

Keeping true to Low’s majestic melancholy, The Invisible Way is filled with layered harmonies, stirring piano parts, heart thumping drums and features drummer/vocalist extraordinaire Mimi Parker singing lead on five of the 11 songs. With this album Low tackled large issues, “the songs are about intimacy, the drug war, the class war, plain old war war, archaeology and love,” says guitarist/vocalist Alan Sparhawk.
