A SPECIAL EVENING WITH LORI LIEBERMAN
GRAMMY MUSEUM, CLIVE DAVIS THEATRE
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19TH, 8:00PM
15th CD Bricks Against The Glass to be released September 17th

Los Angeles-based artist Lori Lieberman may be a familiar name as she has been creating wonderful music for several decades.  Her self-titled debut album in the 70s featured the track “Killing Me Softly” which was inspired by a poem Lieberman wrote after seeing Don McLean in concert.  The song went on to become hits for both Roberta Flack and The Fugees.

Bricks Against The Glass is Lori’s 15th album and it is scheduled for aSeptember 17 release.  Loaded with indelible choruses, beautiful harmonies and thoughtful lyrical content, it showcases the craftsmanship of a musician whose enthusiasm and passion has never waned but continues to burn brightly over the years.  Named “Album Choice” by Hi-Fi News (UK)  “it boasts the intricacy of Rumours-era Christine McVie…All (tracks) are unmistakably Lieberman, delivered in that breathy voice which lulls you into thinking she’s singing only for you.”

An accomplished and elegant musician, Lori Lieberman will be in concert performing her music from “Killing Me Softly” through to the newest record.  The concert will be held at the beautiful Clive Davis Theatre at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on October 19
