Pasadena firefighters barbecue to benefit Ronald McDonald House Saturday

This Saturday Pasadena firefighters will break out their cherried-out custom grill and cook up everything they’re famous for, all as a benefit to Ronald McDonald House in Pasadena.

12:30 to 3 p.m.

Daily Grind Coffee House
100 W. Green St.
(Corner of Green Street and Delacey Avenue)

Featuring:
* Off-duty Pasadena firefighters barbecuing hamburgers and hot dogs
* On-duty Pasadena firefighters stopping by on fire engines to enjoy the food
* Two fire trucks from Fire Station #31
* Children being invited by on-duty firefighters to sit on the front seat of the fire trucks
* Live music performances

Complete meals are $4.99 including side dishes and desserts. Pasadena’s Ronald McDonald House provides a community-supported home away from home where parents and families of critically or terminally ill children can stay while the little ones are receiving treatment at Huntington Hospital and other nearby medical facilities. Pasadena firefighters have supported this Ronald McDonald House for many years through a variety of events and activities.
