Featuring talented songwriters from around the globe, the Songsalive! Showcases are the best industry secret, a great happening all around the world. Songsalive! Showcases are a very cozy, intimate and acoustic environment where media and music industry representatives often drop by to check out the latest talent. Showcase your music and support our Songsalive! national and international live events and showcases presenting songwriters and artists of original music. Showcases are conducted globally.

ABOUT THE SHOWCASE:
The Songsalive! Los Angeles-Genghis Cohen Showcase features a return to a familiar venue, a new date, and a new format! Songsalive returns to Genghis Cohen, home of superb Chinese food, and has served as one of Los Angeles' premier acoustic venues for acoustic Los Angeles songwriters and performers - they have a small stage with a great sound system, great food and drinks, it is family friendly too, with free parking on the street.

We only had one submission so we will be featuring him this month. Afterwards, music continues with the Shout It Out Promotions Industry Showcase, featuring Sarah Green, Beauty and the Beat and Dannel vonn Dillon.

Kathleen Blackwell
Kathleen Blackwell is a classically trained, piano-based singer-songwriter who resides and performs in the Los Angeles area. Kathleen's influences range from Alicia Keys to Tori Amos, U.2. to Radiohead, Lenny Kravitz to Coldplay, Duffy to Urge Overkill, Bob Mould to Sugar—from punk rock to hard rock, Beethoven to Debussy—and many others in between...and on the edge. www.kathleenblackwell.com

Jessica J
Jessica is a singer/songwriter and acoustic guitar player. Rare to find these days, she lives in LA and was born and raised here. She wrote her first song when she was 6 years old and recorded a demo bythe time she finished high school. From there, she received a scholarship to music school in Miami. Gilli Moon
A power packed, highly energetic, focused, warrior woman in a league of her own, gilli moon is a singer-songwriter, recording artist and in fact a polymedia artist (also a visual artist, author, playwright and actor). From Sydney, Australia, gilli (written with a “g” but pronounced like a “j”) delivers music, art and a brave sense of self-expression in her energetic, sensual and expressive performances and recordings. Currently in the studio recording her 6th album, soon to be entitled “The Stillness”, gilli runs her own record label Warrior Girl Music, producing albums for and coaching other artists tobe the best they can be; Plus she is the creator of Songsalive!, the non-profit songwriters organization, which now has chapters worldwide.
