Lincoln talk at Arcadia Library March 24

"Inspired Wisdom of Abraham Lincoln"
Program by Philip Ostergard
Date: Wednesday, March 24, 2010, 10 a.m.
Location: Arcadia Public Library
20 W. Duarte Rd.

The Friends of the Arcadia Public Library will present a program by Philip Ostergard entitled "Inspired Wisdom of Abraham Lincoln." The talk is based on Mr. Ostergard’s book of the same name. A lifelong student of Lincoln, Mr Ostergard has met with outstanding scholars as he has pursued the story of Lincoln’s greatness.

The gigantic figure of our 16th President has been a source of many biographies and studies and research. Trying to bring a divided country together during a time of Civil War, Lincoln manifested his dedication, faith and boundless humor. The Friends invite the public to learn more about "Honest Abe".

Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
