WHAT: Join Mark Ballas and the cast and producers of CINDERELLA to kick off the Holiday Season and get a glimpse of the upcoming production of CINDERELLA at the famed Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Americana at Brand. As part of an expected crowd of 20,000, families will get the chance to see two songs and a brief monologue from the performance and have a chance to meet the entire cast, including Harry Potter’s Freddie Stroma on the night Harry Potter 7: Part 1 premieres!
A new production of CINDERELLA, this family fun Christmas show is in the style of the outrageous British holiday Pantos. The Lythgoe Family, known for their involvement with American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, bring this wild, wacky, and interactive holiday event to the States. The age-old fairytale of Cinderella is set to modern music including Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway,” Michael Buble’s “Just Haven’t Met You Yet,” and Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud,” with a comical twist and incredible magic – theatergoers will get to watch a pumpkin turn into a carriage with real live ponies right before their eyes!
