Holy Ghost! kick off their first national headline tour this Saturday at a sold-out hometown show at Bowery Ballroom. For the first time, Holy Ghost! has been realized as a live band the way Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel envisioned when starting the band. They have now expanded to a six-piece allowing for enough hands on deck to man all the analog gear needed to create the live sound the way that Nick and Alex want the music to be heard. Needless to say, this will be the band’s best-sounding gigs ever so fans are in store for some mind-blowing shows. And if you catch Nick after a show, he’s happy to chat up fans about gear, which he recently shared in an interview with Pitchfork.
To get fans ready for the show, Holy Ghost! are streaming a Tiger & Woods remix and giving away a Cosmic Kids remix of their single “Hold My Breath” out today on DFA Records. There is also an accompanying music video, which falls in line with their ever-growing catalogue of stellar videos. Collaborating again with director and close friend Ben Fries, this latest video is a funny and sentimental look into the personal lives of the band.
You can catch the band at the below dates and stay tuned for some new videos and tunes shortly!
