Rummage sale to benefit Children's Hospital Nov. 12

Teens for the Advancement of Children’s Hospital (TACH) is hosting a huge Rummage Sale, Saturday, November 12, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the La Canada Flintridge Community Center (4469 Chevy Chase Drive, La Canada, CA 91011). These philanthropic teenagers will be selling furniture, household items, decorations, appliances and more. All proceeds will benefit the Adolescent Medicine Division at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

TACH is all about teens helping other teens who are patients at the hospital or underprivileged. In addition to the rummage sale, TACH members have volunteered as “camp counselors” and after school aids at Rio de Los Angeles Community Center, collected over 150 new school supplies for at risk teens, acted as facilitators in Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles’ Anti-Drug Youth Conference, collected over 300 new clothing items for the hospital’s Gang Prevention Program, 350 hygiene kits for homeless teens, and over 100 new baby items through a number of drives and their annual TACH BASH.

Please support the rummage sale and encourage these outstanding young people to continue their valuable community service. For additional information, please contact the Flintridge Guild of Children’s Hospital at: 818-952-7978.
