Celebrate Polynesian culture with a special luau dinner, and a performance by Polynesian Paradise. Specializing in the traditional and modern dances of Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa, Polynesian Paradise is currently the only Polynesian international touring company in Southern California. They have performed various high-profile events, movie premiers, and television including Lilo & Stitch Hawaiian Beach Party at the El Capitan Theater, the premiere of Adam Sandler's 50 First Dates in Westwood, and an 8-week run at the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach.

TATENG KATINDIG TRIO (Piano trio): Hailing from the Philippines but now a fixture on the LA jazz scene, Tateng has performed with the likes of Lou Rawls, Alphonse Mouzon, Mon David, Eric Marienthal, Kevyn Lettau, David Pomeranz, Teddy Edwards, Sam Most, Hubert Laws and many others! Tateng returns to the Muck for a 2nd concert performance after having first appeared at the festival in 2011.

 
Home School Event (public welcome): Shakespeare For Kids & Acting Workshop Romeo and Juliet with LA Troupe
Friday  June 14 . 1:00-3:00 p.m.

$10 per person . $40 per family

Featuring the LA Troupe from Segerstrom Center for the Arts

This event has a special drama workshop after the show that is included with the price.
Plan to stay for the full two hours and be involved in the workshop at the end. Your child will get the opportunity to break up into groups and come up with their own ending to Romeo and Juliet. Each group will then get a turn to act out their ending as is highlighted in the last page of the study guide.
