Pasadena Symphony and POPS launch new website

Lee Wochner, CEO, and Amy Kramer, President, of the boutique Burbank-based marketing agency Counterintuity, have announced the launch of the new and highly improved website for the Pasadena Symphony and POPS (http://www.pasadenasymphony-pops.org/). In addition to providing clearer navigation for ticket purchases and more direct avenues for patrons to receive information, photos and videos about their favorite musicians and guest artists, the new site provides visitors with an interactive look into Pasadena Symphony and POPS two iconic performance venues – the Los Angeles Arboretum and Ambassador Auditorium.
“We are ecstatic,” said Paul Jan Zdunek, Chief Executive Officer, Pasadena Symphony and POPS. “We perform our summer concerts in one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in Southern California, and our new site showcases that fact in a wonderful way. We have servers full of photos and videos from our past events that we have been waiting to share – and now we have the capacity to do exactly that.”

Said Wochner, “This is a world-class symphony, they deserve a world-class website. Our job was to create a digital home for the 85-year-old classical arts organization that felt as fresh and inviting as their beloved songbook series – and that’s what we did.”
The improved website also features greater interactivity and continuity with the Symphony and POPS’ Facebook and Twitter pages, blog, and YouTube channel, ensuring that all PSP fans will have easy and direct access to the latest information about upcoming concerts, special events, fundraising appeals, and other exclusive information. The site redesign also features a fully compatible mobile version of pasadenasymphony-pops.org, which offers patrons the ability to purchase tickets directly from their smartphones.

“We approach website design from the patron perspective,” said Kramer. “What does someone visiting this site want; what is the easiest way to get them what they want; and what is the most dynamic yet streamlined way of presenting the information that they need?  That approach, implemented by talented designers, and with insight from our clients, leads us to create efficient and industry-leading websites for a host of different clients across numerous industries.”
