OC Brew Ha Ha is pleased to announce that The Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen will present a special live performance by the iconic ska band Reel Big Fish at the 4th annual event on Saturday, September 7th at Oak Canyon Park. The Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen and Slater’s 50/50 are also joining the lineup of food vendors that will offer the perfect culinary pairings to compliment the 175 craft and import beers being sampled.

Fresh off a summer long stint on the Vans Warped Tour, Southern California’s Reel Big Fish is perhaps best known for the alt-rock hits “Sell Out” and “Beer” and a cameo in the cult film, BASEketball, starring South Park’s Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The band members themselves are true craft beer aficionados, having even graced the cover of Beer Magazine. Reel Big Fish is excited to perform in front of a hometown crowd of fellow beer/food lovers at the OC BREW HA HA this fall.

At this year’s event, over 70 award-winning breweries will be showcasing craft and import beers in support of the Orange County Fallen Firefighters Relief Fund. Voted “Orange County’s BEST Beer Festival” by the OC Beer Society two years in a row, the event features unique beer-parings with cuisines from local restaurants and food trucks, exclusive beer tasting seminars by renowned experts, and live entertainment by Reel Big Fish and The Creepers.

Annually OC Brew Ha Ha presents the highest quality craft beer and food for connoisseurs with a discerning taste. The 2013 event is excited to welcome back The Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen serving a unique menu designed just for OC Brew Ha Ha guests and Slater’s 50/50 offering samples of their award winning signature 50/50 burger.

Amidst the 175 beers being poured, the event will feature a new collaboration beer called the ”OC Brew Ha Ha Hop Monster” developed by three of OC’s favorite breweries Bootleggers Brewing, Tustin Brewing and Cismontane Brewing. This one time release will be available at OC Brew Ha Ha, on tap throughout Orange County at various craft beer pubs, at the three breweries tasting rooms and it will be bottled and sold at many of OC's finest beer centered bottle shops.

Beer Appreciation Seminars will be conducted by craft beer legends including Co-Founder of Firestone Walker Brewing Co. David Walker, CEO and Co-Founder of Stone Brewing Co. Greg Koch, Craft Beer Ambassador and Certified Cicerone® from Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens “Dr.” Bill Sysak, and many more. Multiple beer friendly food trucks and vendors will be on-site serving up the perfect beer pairing eats. A Gray Cloud Cigar appreciation area with cigar and beer pairing experts is a new addition to this year’s festival amenities.

In memory of 9/11, proceeds from the festival support the Fallen Fire Fighters Relief Fund, a non-profit organization that aids surviving families of Orange County Firefighters lost in the line-of-duty. Local off duty firefighters join the brewers on-site to pour beer for this special event.
