I Sream Records inks deal with Alternative Distribution Alliance

Recently relocated Its American office from Los Angeles to New York City, independent label I Scream Records was formed in 1994 by Laurens Kusters. In the label's humble beginnings it was fueled by only a few thousand dollars and Laurens' passion and his belief in the lifestyle and the power of music. Eager to take the next step, Kusters is extremely excited about the opportunity to take his label and its roster of artists to the next level, recently inking a deal with distribution partner Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA).

Originally a European independent music company, I Scream Records released albums by hardcore and punk bands. Over the last 14 years, I Scream Records has grown into one of the leading European independent labels. I Scream Records has built an impressive catalogue with releases from bands like Madball, Ramallah, Inhuman, Agnostic Front, Discipline, Deathkiller, MOD, Vision, Slapshot, Guajiro, The Unseen, Stars & Stripes and Backfire and compilations such as The Worldwide Tribute To The Real Oi, to name a few. In early 2006 I Scream Records started its American operations and has since started to make it mark in the states as one of the most diverse independents.

"Next to the continuous growth in Europe, the last 2 years in the USA, have been amazing for our company. Our hard work has paid off with the opportunity to join a great company as ADA with an amazing roster of labels." Says Kusters

"We are excited to be the U.S. distributor for I Scream Records" said Mitchell Wolk, Executive Vice President for the Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA). "Laurens has built an impressive, diverse, talented roster of artists and we look forward to partnering with him and putting our resources to work on behalf of his artist roster."

Headquartered in New York City, ADA has built an efficient infrastructure to help its label partners achieve their sales goals, both physically and digitally, including state-of-the-art information systems that give independents the same comprehensive data they would expect from a major, accessible through ADA's B2B website. During its decade-plus existence, ADA has established partnerships with the world's top independent labels.
