Margarita Wrestling at Hermosa Beach to benefit breast cancer research

The leader in Improvisational Sports Theater, Think 5 Entertainment Inc., is back again for its fifth year hosting Margarita Wrestling, an event that is now a Hermosa Beach tradition. Among those in attendance this year will be Jeff Bozz, the owner and star of E!'s show, Sunset Tan, the cast of Sunset Tan, Raz-B from B2K, Manny on the Streets from the Ryan Seacrest show, American Gladiator's, Lee "The Hawk" Reherman, Bob Benz, past mayor of Hermosa and surprise guests.

President, Ken Tayloe says, "It's like WWE meets Baywatch in a NASCAR atmosphere" and describes Margarita Wrestling as a character driven sport in a live audience environment with real female athletes, coaches, referees and judges.

At the end of the 5th Annual Beach Bash Tournament, one team will be declared the winner and walk away with cash prizes. The Margarita Wrestling Association's slogan is "We love breasts, we want to save breasts."

Over the years Margarita Wrestling has donated thousands of dollars to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, whose Executive Director, Betty Rodriguez, called it an "intriguing approach to fundraising." This year the Barbara K. Robinson Breast Cancer Research Foundation will receive 100% of the proceeds from the event and the goal is to raise $50,000.

The wrestling competition will take place from 4-5pm on the beach at 2nd Street, but the fundraising celebration will go from 1-7pm at 58 The Strand, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. Guests are welcome to buy tickets in advance or at the door. Additional donations will be accepted. Tickets include all day access to spend time with the ladies of Margarita Wrestling and Sunset Tan as well as celebrity guests and judges. Inside will be music, dancing and an open bar, so this event is 21 and over.
