Give More After 24 charity support launched

Today marks the official launch of Give More After 24, an empathetic campaign to raise awareness of the importance of giving to those less fortunate.

Give More After 24 was designed to promote and support 24 different charities at a time in order to bring awareness to the various causes they represent. Too many times people are asked to donate to charities without knowing why or who their donation helps. Give More After 24 simply asks visitors to their website to give up one thing for 24 hours and donate the money saved, preferably 24 dollars or more, to the website they are moved to give to. Give More After 24 asks those donating to Feel…Give…Understand.

Give More After 24 founder Tonya Campos created this concept after a trip to Nicaragua to visit the children she sponsors and found that they had not eaten in 24 hours and knew that if others had witnessed this event they would have been quick to donate. In order to bring awareness to this campaign, Ms. Campos plans on fasting every 24th of the month beginning with December 24.

Give More After 24 co-founder David Shaw heard of the idea and immediately started to work on the project and along with Tonya was eager to be able to “give back to those less fortunate.”
Give More After 24 will officially hand out its very first donation at the holiday event of the Los Angeles Mission December 24. The Los Angeles Mission is one of the charities promoted on the website www.givemoreafter24.com.

In a coast to coast effort, co-founder David Shaw will be donating his efforts to the Boston Rescue Mission on December 24th. He will be fasting along with Tonya Campos for the entire 24 hours.
