Gearing up for the release of Myself In Two (due early 2011), soulful pop songstress Jen Hirsh will perform live at the legendary Hotel Cafe on January 8th at 8pm.
Myself in Two was written collaboratively with guitarist and songwriter Adam Tressler, and is a collection of 10 songs that capture what Hirsh experienced over the past year: heartbreak, feelings of self doubt and, as Hirsh says, “living in LA with my heart in New York.”
The album was produced by Max Coane (Jack's Mannequin, The Rocket Summer), mixed by Bob Clearmountain (Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney), mastered by Greg Calbi (John Lennon, David Bowie, Paul Simon, John Mayer) and features an all-star cast including Patrick Warren on keyboard and piano (Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Sheryl Crow).
