Matt White joins forces with Brendan James on The Troubadour Tour for a stint of co-headlining dates across the United States at the top of next year. White and James plan to win over hearts one town at a time beginning in Uncasville, CT on February 16, 2011 and covering over 40 cities nationwide. White, who is currently headlining dates in support of his sophomore album “It’s The Good Crazy” (Ryko), is excited to get back on the road with his full band.
“I have been a big fan of Brendan’s for a long time, so I'm very excited for us to bring our music to both coasts and in the middle. The idea of having two piano players on tour always fascinated me, like when Elton John and Billy Joel used to go on those dueling piano tours, so it should be fun,” says White.
The piano phenom has been going full force since his September release of “It’s The Good Crazy,” a combination of propulsive piano playing and sly lyrics recorded entirely on analog tape. White is scheduled to appear on the Rachael Ray Show on January 5, 2011, which follows recent performances on CBS’ The Early Show’s Second Cup Cafe and NPR’s Mountain Stage. White’s music can also be heard several times a day throughout the average American household. His 2008 hit “Love” is the theme song for the infectious McDonald’s McRib commercial.
