Capitol Steps coming to Caltech April 29 and 30

The Capitol Steps will satirize people and topics in the news in song parodies on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30, at 8 p.m., and on Sunday, May 1, at 3:30 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium. Included on their program will be selections such as Battle Hymn of the Tea Public; Libya, Oh Libya; and March Like an Egyptian. The Capitol Steps began in 1981 at a Christmas party in the office of former Senator Charles Percy. Since that time, they have recorded 30 albums and have appeared on numerous television and radio shows. Tickets to this performance are priced at $38.00, $33.00, and $28.00; youth (high school age and younger): $10.00. Senior rush tickets will go on sale for $10.00, beginning one-half hour before the performance (subject to availability). Tickets can be purchased at the Caltech Ticket Office, 332 S.
