Pasadena Museum of History to offer hair & makeup workshop and hat show May 7

Pasadena Museum of History Presents Two Special Programs at Altadena Town and Country Club -- Just in Time for Mother’s Day

Join Annamarie von Firley, owner/designer of reVamp - a reproduction vintage clothing fashion house - for an informative one-hour 1930s period makeup workshop and hairstyling demonstration. Annamarie will show us several wet-set 1930s hairstyling techniques that you can try at home. Bring your own makeup and supplies (please consult the Supply List below) to receive hands-on experience applying period appropriate makeup, or enjoy the session as an observer. This workshop is the perfect complement to the vintage millinery fashion show and luncheon immediately following.

Antique couture hats will take the spotlight on the catwalk as millinery historian and collector Barbara Troeller unpacks her most prized possessions for us. These are one-of-a-kind creations from the great Parisian and American designers from the late 19th century to the 1940s. Enjoy an elegant luncheon in this beautiful setting while feasting on millinery eye candy!
