Yvonne Lewis is a professional custom milliner and instructor. She is the proprietor of That's Yvonne, a custom millinery studio in Los Angeles specializing in French Room millinery techniques and one-of-a-kind custom hats and hair accessories. She'll be talking about hats.


AFTERNOON PROGRAM – 1:00 P.M.: MYRNA ELLIOTT – PATCHWORK TREASURES TRUNK SHOW


THIS MONTH'S WORKSHOP: MAY 22 & 23 (TWO DAYS)
YVONNE LEWIS - MAD HATTIN': SENSATIONAL STRAW HATS
Millinery is the art of making hats. Learn how to create unique and beautiful designer quality straw hats during this fun and creative two-day hands-on workshop. Explore traditional and free form blocking techniques used for shaping and constructing a hat. Discover trade secrets used to cut, assemble, sew, embellish, and apply finishing techniques to a hat. All work is done by hand, the old-fashioned way. $35 kit fee.
