Why Channel 52? Let’s start at the beginning.

From the late 60s to the early 70s, 4 lads, who knew nothing of each other, would huddle in front of their remote-less televisions, turning the channel knob ever so carefully in order to tune in a fuzzy channel that featured off beat cartoons and kid’s shows. Shows like “Kimba the White Lion”, “Gigantor”, “8th Man”, “Felix the Cat”, “Speed Racer”, “The Addams Family”, “The Little Rascals”, and others. The only catch was that at around 8:00 pm every night, this channel’s signal would scramble, and ON TV, at that time the only cable channel around, would come on the air. This strange and wonderful station? KBSC, Channel 52, Corona.

Thus, the lads became bigger lads, who turned their passions to the music that remains a throwback to those times in front of the “tele.” Hence, you are invited to share this evening’s performance by Channel 52, whose members have but one goal…….

To rekindle memories, and create new ones, one song at a time. Welcome!

Javany Martinez; Vocals, guitar

Joe Velosa: Vocals, bass

Buggs Manocchi: Vocals, drums

Danny Hesse, Vocals, guitar
