CATbaret musical benefit in LA Aug. 4

CATbaret: A One-Night Celebrity Musical Celebration of the Alluring Feline is a benefit event for Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, a local nonprofit organization specializing in Trap.Neuter.Release (TNR) feline rescue.

CATbaret – cat+cabaret – is a music revue of popular and humorous cat-themed songs, and will showcase music from show tunes such as “Be A Lion” to class rock’s “Honky Cat” to the bluesy “Black Cat Bone” and the 60s pop hit “Walking My Cat Named Dog;” plus everything in between.

WHO:
This year's benefit follows in the successful footsteps of last year's CATS for Cats event, and stars from that show are returning for CATbaret, including Fred Willard, Owain Yeoman, Keith David, Ioan Gruffudd, and stand-outs from the hit show So You Think You Can Dance. New additions this year include Sara Rue, Jasika Nicole, Chris Carmack, Steven Weber and more.

WHEN:
Sunday, August 4th @ 7:30pm

The Belasco Theater, Downtown Los Angeles, 1050 S Hill St, Los Angeles, CA 90015
The newly restored Belasco Theater, is the latest gem in a series of downtown’s rediscovered theaters to receive a makeover.
