Hear new Major League Soccer anthems by hometown bands

Have you heard Major League Soccer got a music makeover with new anthems created by up-and-coming bands? Each of the 13 MLS teams were paired with 13 hometown bands to write and record original songs from rock to punk to Latin genres that symbolized each team and its homecity... Already, the LA Galaxy team song by Kinky has tons of fans pumped for the season.
The anthem songs are part of a new adidas soccer initiative called "MLS Represent" created to attract new fans to MLS soccer and encourage fan participation, camaraderie and rivalry around the 2007season. Soccer fans can listen to or download the anthems for free on the "MLSRepresent" site at www.adidas.com/MLS . Also online, fans can customizethe songs by creating music videos that blend a team anthem with MLS game footage and photography, which can be sent to friends or rivals or posted on their "Represent" profile.
"MLS Represent" was produced by SF-based digital content marketer, EVB (www.evb.com ) and Rock River Music (www.rrcmusic.com ).
