Alana Grace ready for Warped TOur

Dubbed by Teen People as "the next Alanis Morissette," Alana Grace is primed to join the ever-popular 2009 Vans Warped Tour with stops in nearly 50 cities across the U.S. and Canada including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta and more.

"I can’t wait to perform for my fans and to meet new ones along the way,” says Alana.

The tour kicks off in Pomona, Calif. on June 26, where she begins her stint on the “Kevin Says” Stage. For more tour dates and ticket information CLICK HERE.

A prolific songwriter, singer, performer and musician, Alana has graced the pages of Teen People and rocked the stages of Bonnaroo, Summerfest and House of Blues. Launched into the national spotlight when her song, "Black Roses Red" emerged as the standout track on the soundtrack for the movie “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” it was her memorable performance on NBC’s "TODAY" show that sparked nationwide buzz. Respected for her songwriting, Alana has not only been recognized by Garageband, Famecast, Skopemag and WeAreListening, but last year became part of an elite roster of artists including Gwen Stefani, Trent Reznor and Interpol at Kobalt Publishing.

Alana recently completed her sophomore album, With One Word. She worked on the album in Nashville, Austin and Los Angeles, and recorded with Nick Brophy (Avril Lavigne), Dwight Baker (Kelly Clarkson, Bleu Edmondson) and Mike Greene (Paramore, Good Charlotte). The album is available now for purchase through iTunes.

In addition to a growing list of musical credits, Alana Grace kept busy this spring as one of the hosts for the 2009 season of SPEED Channel's "The New American Thunder." The show is a revamped format of “The American Thunder,” the highest-rated and longest-running motorcycle show on cable TV. Tune in Wednesday, July 8 to see the last episode of the season (check local listings for show times). Alana is set to begin filming for the next season later this fall.
