Austin's Del Castillo coming to L.A.

Austin’s Del Castillo, will be coming back to the LA area next week.

The band has had a large and loyal following in the great state of Texas and has swept the Austin Music Awards at the SXSW music festival in years past.

Del Castillo mixes Latin, rock, cumbia, salsa and infectious Caribbean rhythms into a dazzling high-energy live performance coaxing even the most jaded observers onto the dance floor. The band has toured with Los Lobos and Ozomatli and they have performed at Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic and Eric Clapton’s Crossroads guitar festival. The two brothers’ hummingbird-fast, dueling guitar licks are mesmerizing in their intricacy and yet as natural as breathing. Alex Ruiz on the mic keeps the fire hot with his otherworldly, whirling energy and passionate voice, singing in both English and Spanish. The powerful rhythm section keeps the whole thing moving.

Hello Liz,

Thanks for the update on the time. I'll bet my press release noted it earlier so people would be seated and ready for the show. It's going to be great!

Keep on rockin'
