Toad the Wet Sprocket to tour

It’s been 20 years since Dean Dinning, Randy Guss, Todd Nichols and Glen Phillips – collectively known as Toad The Wet Sprocket – debuted on Columbia Records with Bread and Circus in August 1989. The band will celebrates on tour beginning on the West Coast in March.

What keeps bringing Toad The Wet Sprocket together after all these years, “our fans,” says bassist Dean Dinning. “We’ve taken time off and are all active writing and recording in various projects, but our fans are what bring us back together.”

Not to mention the bond of the four original members who first performed together in high school. These days, family and other commitments limit their time, but Toad has continued to tour consistently performing hits like the chart-topping single “All I Want,” “Walk On The Ocean,” “Fall Down,” “Good Intentions,” and “Something’s Always Wrong,” all of which can still be heard on radio. Their songs have been featured in film, TV shows and commercials like “Friends”, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “Empire Records”, “So I Married an Axe Murderer”, “Scrubs”, “Cold Case”, “Dawson’s Creek”, “My So Called Life”, “Party of Five”, and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

It’s a true testament to their staying power: the music is timeless.
