Brokencyde Respond To Rumors They Died In Colorado; Bands Prepares To Enter The Studio To Record Sophomore Album ***
Albuquerque NM crunkcore innovators Brokencyde have released a statement squashing the rumor that the group was killed last week in a bus crash in Colorado. Websites like Strikegently.com had began reporting last week that the group had been killed in a bus crash in Colorado online at http://strikegently.com/?p=51850. The band is alive and currently crisscrossing the country as a part of the 2 Drunk 2 Fuck Tour alongside Jeffree Star, Blood On The Dance Floor and Stereos.
"I heard we had died in a bus crash when we were in Denver, and when we heard the news, I just laughed about it and tweeted that we were smoking weed with 2Pac," chuckles Brokencyde's Phat J from a tour stop in Seattle, WA. "This tour has been amazing so far and every night the venues are packed. After this tour we are heading into the studio to record our new album. The new material sounds amazing so far, as we're writing our best stuff ever. It's the usual BrokeNCYDE, but we’re growing up a little bit. We're going for the ‘good song’ approach," he laughs. "Our true fans will definitely be satisfied, I promise."
Brokencyde are scheduled to enter the studio in July to record the group’s sophomore album for release on BreakSilence Recordings in late 2010.
