Photos sought for Doo Dah contest and exhibit

The Doo Dah Parade Invades Altadena

While the world renowned spectacle known as The Pasadena Doo Dah Parade took place on May 1st of this year…the party continues as we celebrate the photographers that creatively captured some amazing moments.

Event: The Doo Dah Parade Photo & Memorabilia Exhibit
Hosted by Queen Skittles & Queen Naughty Mickie

When: Saturday, July 17th – 6:00pm until Midnight

Where: Gallery at the End of the World
2475 N. Lake Avenue, Altadena CA 91001

Featuring: Entertainment, refreshments, photo contest and silent auction
to benefit the Light Bringer Project, a non-profit arts organization.

Admission: $5 – (Doo Dah attire is encouraged)


Guests to this festive event will be treated to a wall of Doo Dah photographs provided by professionals and amateurs alike, all vying for the top title award ‘Spirit of Doo Dah’.

Meanwhile, stroll through this eclectic gallery, discovering colorful parade items in every corner including the memorabilia center, featuring fascinating items such as royal dresses worn by several Queens during the various parades.

Amid all this excitement will be a Silent Auction with a bevy of gift basket items donated by locals to raise funds for Light Bringer Project, a non-profit community arts program that also produces the Doo Dah Parade and Pasadena Chalk Festival.
