Audible.com to releases Faulkner's "Light in August"

On Monday, August 23, Audible.com is bringing William Faulkner’s classic story of wrenching tragedy and enduring hope, “Light In August,” to digital audiobook format. The 2005 Oprah Book Club Selection will be read by actor and award-winning narrator Will Patton (Remember the Titans, voice of novelist James Lee Burke’s “Dave Robicheaux” series) and the title is a part of Audible’s Modern Vanguard collection, which celebrates important works from groundbreaking authors. “Light In August” will be available for purchase for $34.95 at Audible.com and on iTunes with a discounted price for members.

You can purchase the novel here, but please be aware the link will not go live until the release date, Monday, August 23. One lucky person will win the original working manuscript Patton used to record the book, autographed by the narrator himself.
