The Inland Empire Auto Show (IEAS) is excited to introduce the General Motors (GM) Ride & Drive event at the 2010 Inland Empire Auto Show! Attendees will have the opportunity to test-drive their favorites from Chevrolet, Buick and GMC on a special route near the Ontario Convention Center, home to this year's IEAS. With new 2011 vehicles on site, this event is a great time to hop in, ride and drive!
GM will also be showcasing the new 2011 Chevy Volt, a plug-in hybrid electric car. Utilizing a lithium–ion battery, the Volt can run without a drop of gasoline before switching over to an extended gas generator that allows the Volt to run for hundreds of miles on a single tank of gas. To recharge, the Volt simply plugs it into any standard outlet.
For an event the whole family will enjoy, be sure to check out Bumblebee, a Camaro SS, and Stingray, a special edition Corvette, stars from the blockbuster hits Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The star-cars will be on display for fans to get an up close and personal look at their favorite 4-wheeled action heroes.
