Twentieth Television announces that the debut of the all-new “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” is set for September 20th (in 5-day-a-week broadcast syndication) and will premiere on October 5th in primetime on MyNetworkTV (every Tuesday night). In addition, “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” will air weekdays this fall on Vh1.
“Don’t Forget the Lyrics!”, the musical game show that tests contestants’ knowledge of song lyrics from different genres, decades and artists, returns to television next month. The program is the ultimate rock star fantasy taking viewers on a dramatic, heart pounding, rollercoaster ride of music and edge-of-your seat entertainment. Mark McGrath from the multi-platinum group, Sugar Ray, hosts “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” where he brings ordinary people center stage for a chance to win a fortune – just by knowing the words to the biggest hit songs ever recorded.
This upcoming season “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” will also welcome celebrity contestants including “American Idol” winner Taylor Hicks; Backstreet Boys’ Brian Littrell and Nick Carter; Kid ‘N Play, and many more!; Plus special themed episodes including “Movie Music Week”, “Rock the Troops Week”, and “Heroes Week.”
