DJ DC to compete for world record in Orange County Sept. 1-5

From September 1st to September 5, Famed DJ DC (Rene Brunner) from Austria travels to Sutra Lounge in Orange County to compete for the title in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Longest hours of a DJ set in history. The Current record stands at 120 Hours.

Sutra will open its doors Monday Aug 30th at 11:59 pm and DJ DC will begin his quest for the title at this time. He will receive a 5min rest for every completed hour of activity. SutraOC’s doors will remain open for 24 hours for five days until completion of the world record on September 5th, 2010 at 12:01 when we expect DJ DC to gain the title for the longest Club DJ in the world.

The newly redesigned Sutra Lounge is still one of the hottest club venues in Southern California. For the first time ever, for the same five days above, Sutra Lounge is introducing SUTRA FIVE as, in conjunction with the record breaking event, a sequence of other entertainers will be appearing for the five day celebration. Each night will highlight top performances by some of the country’s hottest artists.
