Voting open on Nickelback guitar naming contest

People's Choice and award-winning rock band, Nickelback are kicking off the second leg of the Gibson Guitar Naming Contest on www.PeoplesChoice.com!

When Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger found out he was to join an elite list of musicians to receive a Gibson USA Limited Edition Les Paul Guitar, he turned to the folks at the People's Choice Awards to help get the fans involved. A contest was launched on www.PeoplesChoice.com for fans to submit names for the signature guitar and two weeks later, 15,000 entries have been submitted.

The band has chosen their top three choices and now it is up to the fans to make the final call by voting for either "Black Raven," "Blackwater" or "Dark Angel" on www.PeoplesChoice.com.

By voting, fans are automatically entered to win tickets to the 2011 People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The fan who submitted the winning name will receive a VIP package, including meet & greet passes to an upcoming Nickelback concert.
