DC is proud to announce its sponsorship of the first Street League Skateboarding tour, the 2010 DC Pro Tour Fueled by Monster Energy. The contest series kicks off in Phoenix, AZ on August 28th before hitting Ontario, CA on Sept 11th, and wrapping up in Las Vegas, NV on Sept 25th.
Created by DC pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, Street League Skateboarding™ is the first skateboarding league of its kind exclusively for street skateboarders. Twenty-four of the best skateboarders in the world have been invited to be a part of this league and compete against each other on real plaza courses at three different event stop this summer.
"DC couldn't be happier to be a part of this tour, supporting street skateboarding and Rob’s vision for the sport," said Anton Nistl, DC’s President. "This is the next progression in skateboarding and DC will be there every step of the way. We're looking forward to watching the DC pro skateboarders who have been invited to compete including PJ Ladd, Nick Dompierre and Chaz Ortiz."

Street League Skateboarding will also welcome Zumiez as the retail partner for the inaugural series.
