West Hollywood offers lots of New Year's Eve fun

Let’s face it… New Year’s Eve is serious business. Ringing in the New Year in high style is an essential task, but it doesn’t have to be challenging. With elegant and innovative dining options, hot nightclubs, rockin’ music venues and hip hotels, WeHo aims to please this New Year’s Eve.

Only in West Hollywood will revelers find the notorious Sunset Strip, eclectic Santa Monica Boulevard (home of LA’s premier gay and lesbian scene), and The Avenues, a fashion, art and design district – each offering a unique array of experiences. Presented here are many of the city’s premier NYE events, divided into four categories: dining, nightlife, LGBT nightlife and hotels.

DINING

• BLT Steak will offer diners a special three-course prix-fixe menu and its regular menu. The restaurant is open from 6 – 11:30 p.m., perfect for starting an evening on The Sunset Strip. (8720 Sunset Blvd., 310-360-1950)

• BOA Sunset will offer a prix-fixe menu with two seatings: first seating is 6:30-7 p.m. and costs $95; second seating is from 9-9:30 p.m. and is $165. Boa will have live entertainment with a DJ. (9200 Sunset Blvd, 323-650-8383)

• Katana will feature two seatings: the first seating is from 6-8:45 p.m. with the regular menu; the second seating is 9-9:30 p.m. with a $125 five-course prix-fixe menu and champagne toast. • Dine at Cecconi’s West Hollywood and enjoy a four-course prix-fixe menu as well as a selection of specialty cocktails. No evening would be complete without a DJ and a champagne toast at midnight. • At Comme Ca, guests can choose from two seatings and dine on multi-course prix-fixe menus. (8479 Melrose Ave., 323-782-1104)

• LUAU at Lucques will consist of a five-course Hawaiian menu, costumed staff and island entertainment. First seating is $110 and second seating is $150 with a champagne toast. (8474 Melrose Ave., 323-655-6277)

• RESTAURANT at Sunset Marquis Hotel will offer a prix-fixe menu by Chef de Cuisine Guillaume Burlion for $125 per person. (1200 North Alta Loma, 310-657-1333)

• RH at the Andaz West Holltywood will serve a five-course feast that showcases Chef Sebastien Archambault’s seasonal, market-to-table Southwestern French cuisine. • At Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood, the early seating features a three-course menu for $85; the late seating is five courses for $145. (1020 San Vicente Blvd., 310-358-7788)

NIGHTLIFE
